    Stopped in as our group
Of four was looking for lite lunch before Checking into Hilton hotel.
No one in restaurant young lady was very cheerful and helpful.   Couple of beers ordered along with sandwiches and appetizers.   Delicious food  potato salad was interesting--made with French dressing--and tasty.  I had a grilled Rueben.    Loved it.
Nice atmosphere.   Reasonable prices.    Friendly service!

Cool little hole in the wall we stop buy for a friends birthday. Cheap, good drinks. They have pool and live music. Definitely a chill hang out spot.

Every New Year's Day we have a tradition to go out for lunch somewhere where we have never been. 2019's choice was Corrigan's Irish pub.

Our very capable waitress Delia, was doing double duty bartending also. Seeing it was the day after New Year's, foot traffic was kind of slow.

My bride started with a flight of locally brewed beers, which she enjoyed. We shared a app of poutain, absolutely delicious.

Next, I had their French onion soup, globs of melted provolone cheese in a very hot broth made this soup very good, nice amount of onions too.

My wife at this point really wasn't very hungry, so she ordered just a corn beef sandwich. Unfortunately she found it rather tough, this was probably due to the corn beef being hand cut, which made for a thicker cut of meat.
I chose to have their Ruben grilled sandwich, which I found excellent.

All said and done it was an enjoyable New Year's day lunch. After leaving the pub, we had an very nice walk though Pioneer park and the basin.

I used to love this place but they recently fired my mom and we're very sexist about it... Not going to tell the whole story but the employees are always drunk or drugged out. My mom basically ran the place for 5 years and they kicked her to the curb. The foods not even that good. I'd give the food a solid 5/10 total.. Courigans is really only good for late night partiers and people who like to drink lots of beer and whiskey.

Courigan's is exactly what you would expect from a neighborhood Irish sports bar that has been around forever. It is smaller, it is dark. The service can be iffy (although we have a favorite waitress who is amazing).

The food is tasty. Honestly, I don't think I have had anything here that I haven't liked. My favorite thing is the wings. On the recommendation of our favorite waitress, we get them naked, blackened, grilled and sauce on the side. Their sauce comes either very mild, or very hot. I order the hot and it is addictive. I cannot get enough of it. My heat tolerance is really, really high. It does make my lips go numb.

I have also had a salad, a burger and a few other items here. Others with me have enjoyed the fish and chips and the poutine. I didn't try them though. The menu is pretty large and a combination of Irish and American dishes.

This is a nice place to escape the outdoors for a bit and catch a game or just grab some food. I will keep coming back for those wings if nothing else. They are amazing. Try them and then send me a compliment to let me know what you think.
